As COMCO enters its eighth year in the industry, the award-winning COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises introduces its updated lineup of brands and agencies dedicated to advancing the communications profession and related disciplines in the country and beyond.

COMCO Southeast Asia (COMCO SEA) was launched in 2016 as a “kick-start-up” boutique communications agency which aimed to ignite brand love with its unique brand of meaningful storytelling. In the years since, COMCO SEA has expanded into two units and streamlined its services – New PR and Smart Social for Public Relations and Communications and Experience+ for Communication and Marketing Services. New PR and Smart Social services include Consumer Marketing and Brand Communications; Corporate Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Cause-Related Marketing, Advocacy and Development Communications; Internal Communications and Employee Relations; Influencer or KOL Management and Grassroots Communications; Media, Government and Community Relations; Sustainability and Environment Communications; and Crisis and Issues Communications; while Experience+ services include Events, Activation and Production; Special Media and Advertising Executions; and Branding.

In the last year, COMCO Mundo has also launched its specialist agency for digital and integrated communications, TARO AOX Inc., which is divided into three units – Digital Max for Digital, Social and Emerging Innovations, Platforms and TechnologiesICOM for Integrated Communications,; and Story Lab Communications Development and Support Ecosystem for Communications Audit, Research, and Planning, and Editorial Services. As more and more companies adapt to digital, data-driven campaigns with solid foundations from insights and research to timely and relevant executions are becoming more and more valuable. The Digital Max division specializes in Digital and Social Strategy; Social Media and Community Management; Social Media Audit, Social Listening and Digital Analytics; Virtual or Online Events; Digital Advertising and Search Engine Optimization; and Websites and Application Development and Emerging Innovations, Platforms and Technologies; the ICOM division specializes in Digital PR and Integrated Communications; Technology PR; Influencer Marketing; and Digital Activation; and Story Lab specializes in Communications Audit, Research and Planning; Editorial and Publication Services; Media Monitoring, Measurement, and Analytics; and Special PR and Communications Projects. COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises, the parent company of the group, continues to incubate and launch new units and brands to… COMCO Mundo currently manages Citizen COMCO, Camp COMCO Alumni Society, SEA Wave & Spice Multimedia Content Studio, COMCO School of Communications, and COMCOffee Club Shared Services and Enterprise Community.

COMCO has been at the forefront of advocacy and development work for children and women, wildlife and environment, health and wellness, and heritage and culture since 2016. Through the Citizen COMCO Advocacy Movement, the group has worked with local and international reputable non-government and development organizations such as Called to Rescue, Unilab Foundation, UNFPA, UP-PGH, World Vision, WWF-Philippines, and most recently, GMA Kapuso Foundation.

COMCO Mundo through its award-winning, industry-acclaimed CAMP COMCO Mentorship program has produced 123 apprentices and honed promising communications practitioners to be part of COMCO Mundo, its companies, and / or the industry. Graduates of the mentorship program comprise the Camp COMCO Alumni Society promotes continuous learning among all apprentices through exchanges and collaboration in advocacy projects including Unity Games, a fun-filled event that brings together the alumni of the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program, and involvement in House Wars.

SEA Wave Pop Culture Magazine started as a digital magazine in 2019 focusing on Southeast Asian and pop cultural stories and has since evolved into SEA Wave & Spice Multimedia Content Studio – a fully-fledged unit offering Studio Produced Titles and services for Branded Content, Video Storytelling and Multimedia Arts for brands, as well as Talent Management for content creators, influencers and bloggers. SEA Wave Pop Culture Magazine continues to operate as the studio’s flagship digital publication featuring the latest pop culture happenings while highlighting inspiring Southeast Asian stories through its SEAtizens initiative. The studio is also looking forward to launching new titles in the next year across different online channels.

The latest addition to the group is the COMCO School of Communications or COMSCO, a professional development program with various trainings and offerings for industry essential topics.  CODEVA or Communications Development and Acceleration offers courses on Media Training, Crisis Communications, PR 101, Social Media, and Content Marketing, among others while PRODEVA of Professional Development and Acceleration presents trainings on Leadership, Management, Team Building, and more. COMSCO also houses COMCO Mundo’s internal programs such as ACADEX of COMCO Academy of Excellence which is the group’s employee development program and Camp COMCO Mentorship Program, the intensive and comprehensive talent incubation initiative, industry linkage course and apprenticeship program designed to transform communication, marketing and multimedia arts students and fresh graduates into revolutionary practitioners of the communications industry and related disciplines.

Alongside these programs and brands is COMCOffee Club Shared Services and Enterprise Community, which provides shared services for COMCO Mundo’s companies and business units, covering Finance and AccountingLARC or Legal Affairs, Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance; and Super Administration which includes Office ManagementTeam Care (Talent Development), and IT (Information Technology) Systems, and Administrative Support to Operations.
