Warmth filled the rainy day as COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises celebrated the much-awaited COMCOlidays at the Tagaytay Highlands.
An exclusive holiday celebration for COMCO employees, also referred to as our COMCO Squadron, the COMCOlidays this year was filled with special and epic memories highlighted by contests, games, and gift giving.
Aligned with the company’s goal of nurturing its employees and discovering new local destinations and experiences, this year’s COMCOlidays celebrated the agency’s success for its “Epic 7th Year”. The COMCOlidays is aligned with the company’s goal of exploring and appreciating local travel destinations creating unique experiences for our COMCO Squadron.
The COMCO Squadron enjoyed a full day of various activities such as bowling and GoKart, TikTok challenge that showcased the dance moves and grooves of the Squadron, games like trending Tumpakners, raffle draw, and the Purple Elephant gift exchange. The COMCO Squadron also filled their stomachs with sumptuous Korean and Filipino cuisine throughout the day.
Sharing their experiences in the agency, the COMCO Squadron uploaded their social media entries using the hashtag #COMCOlidaysAtTagaytayHighlands capturing their special memories with the COMCO Squadron.
In the spirit of giving and extending the holiday spirit, our COMCO Squadron had an internal campaign raising funds for the victims of the recent earthquakes in Mindanao. This initiative forms part of the Citizen COMCO, the agency’s forefront advocacy and development arm that promotes social good and spreads awareness on the causes we believe in. The raised funds were also doubled by COMCO Mundo for the agency’s overall donation which was turned over to the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
“When you decide to put your roots here and grow, we envision that you will grow to become partners and be part of the ventures that we are making. Individually, we have our own stories. As a team and a company, we find that common story or narrative to grow. There were times that we were put at challenges but we were guided by the things we do and the common wisdom of our founders, we were able to get the best decisions for our team,” said COMCO Mundo Group Chief Executive Director and Lead Strategic Communications Counsel / Partner and Co-Founder Ferdinand L. Bondoy.
Throughout the years, COMCO Mundo celebrates its annual Christmas party uniquely. In 2016, COMCO held its first COMCOlidays in Manila Hotel together with its Southeast Asia affiliates while in 2017, the agency visited the City of Pines, Baguio City. COMCO also headed north for a trip to the Ilocos Region in 2018 and back to Baguio City with a side trip to Atok, Benguet in 2019. Due to the pandemic restrictions, COMCO held a hybrid celebration in 2020 that was celebrated through the silent thanksgiving in Tagaytay and a virtual COMCOlidays celebration. In 2021, the COMCOlidays celebration was held through a yacht party in Manila Bay while in 2022, the agency paid tribute to the country’s heritage and architecture through a trip to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan.
The year 2023 is a momentous year for COMCO Mundo as it highlights the agency’s milestone of celebrating its seventh anniversary. The year-long festivities included celebrations through movie night, away days in Greece and Singapore, and a music night with COMCOmigos, a collective term for its clients and partners, media friends, and blogging and online communities.
With the spirit of the holidays gracing 2023, COMCO Mundo looks forward to accomplishing another mission in 2024.
