‘ULUL’
My COMCOre memory 
Let me share a story with you, one that I believe many of you can relate to, especially those who are scared to begin a new journey, feeling a bit lost, or struggling to recognize their talents.
As a recent graduate, the transition into the real world can be bewildering. I had so many questions. Which path should I pursue? What to prioritize at this stage of my life? Is this uncertainty normal? What’s the next step? Am I making the right choices? Am I just overthinking?
I’ve been working for about a year and a half now. Despite receiving an accelerated promotion, I know I’m still a baby in the industry. Minsan hindi pa rin ako sure kung ano bang nangyayari. 
A few weeks ago, during our company anniversary celebration, some of us were unable to sleep. So, we decided to play “We’re Not Really Strangers.” When it was my turn, I drew a card prompting a question along the lines of “What’s one thing you think I don’t know but should?”
Hen was the first to answer, “Hindi mo lang alam, but I see you as a mentor.”
“ULUL?!” (sana hindi ako ipatawag ng HR) I couldn’t help but feel skeptical, plastik kasi siya. EMZ
Then Karen said, “Oo kaya! You’re a very excellent person. First day ko pa lang sa tres namamangha na ako by how you do your work. I look up to you.”
Gabby followed, “I think you don’t know na you’re good at what you do. Most of the time, hindi mo lang mapansin na you’re growing a lot because so much is happening around you. But looking back at where we were when we first started, I’m so proud of you.”
I bawled my eyes out in front of them. They saw something in me that I wasn’t aware of. Reflecting on it, I realized how much I’ve grown in a short period of time and that their perception of me mirrored all my mentors. I was hired with zero experience, and wherever I am now, I’ve learned everything here.
I’m really grateful to be surrounded by these amazing people. Work is not just work when you receive unwavering support, genuine encouragement, and heartfelt care.
Anyway, circling back to my point, I’m sharing this story because I believe many of you can relate. At times, we’re consumed by fear and pressure, causing us to overlook our small wins and gradual growth.
So, if you are reading this, know that you are exceptional. You are good at what you do, and you are continuously evolving, even if you don’t realize it.
We still have a loooong way to go, but I’m proud of you!
