COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises continues to champion its advocacy of igniting talent growth by successfully transforming its Camp COMCO Cycle 19 apprentices into full-fledged members of the COMCO Squadron.
Camp COMCO Mentorship Program is an intensive and comprehensive talent incubation initiative by the Agency and is one of the country’s top apprenticeship programs recognized by global award-giving bodies. Now on its 19th Cycle, the initiative has been successfully instilling industry-calibrated knowledge and skills to each of its apprentices, helping to them gear up to become revolutionary practitioners of the industry.
As part of the COMCO’s 7th-anniversary milestone, the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program’s 3As or “Accelerated Apprentice Assimilation” initiative has been rebranded and reintroduced. 3As is a more advanced apprenticeship course within the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program that fully prepares and transitions apprentices into an actual staff of the Agency.
With the reintroduction of the 3As Program running in sync with the Camp, the apprentices or COMCOwans are given the chance to be fully equipped, evaluated and be part of the Agency’s COMCO Squadron right after the end of the mentorship program.
For Camp COMCO’s 19th Cycle, six COMCOwans passed the evaluation and are now officially hired as employees of the global award-winning communications agency.
From Holy Angel University, three Camp graduates studying Bachelor of Arts in Communication were officially hired: Ernest Yap (House Hawksbill) was appointed as COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises Executive Initiatives and Communications Associate, Jan David (House Bearcat) was hired as TARO AOX Digital + Integrated Communication Integrated Communications Associate and Dominique Magtoto (House Flying Fox) was employed as COMCO Southeast Asia Brand Communications Associate.
Hendrich Namoca (House Hawksbill), a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with Tracks in Communication and Philippine Literature graduate from Ateneo de Manila University, was designated as COMCO Southeast Asia’s Brand Communications Associate while Joana De Guzman (House Bercat), a Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree major in Convergent Media Track graduate from Far Eastern University was assigned as Communications Support Services Associate.
All the way from Iloilo, Ronette Tibay (House Whaleshark), a student of Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at West Visayas State University, has also been hired as COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises’ Executive Initiative and Communications Associate.
As COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises celebrates its seventh year in the industry and expands its reach in the region and across the globe, developing a new breed of Communication practitioners who can carry its brand of Meaningful Storytelling becomes a top priority.
With the 3As program now in full throttle within the Camp COMCO Mentorship program, more aspiring creative rebels will be given the chance to become industry rockstars.
“To start my career in a global award-winning Agency is the best thing that can happen to me and to do it even before graduation is a double plus! I’m very excited to the epic adventure that awaits me here at COMCO,” shared Ernest Yap, COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises’ Executive Initiatives and Communications Associate.
“To be part of the COMCO family is both an honor and a privilege for me because of how much learning I am getting from the Agency,” shared Hendrich Namoca, COMCO Southeast Asia’s Brand Communications Associate.

“Camp COMCO is designed to give the best internship or apprenticeship for aspiring communication professionals as I believe that a good mentorship program is the one that will fully prepare these students and young practitioners, provide them with the best jumping board for the practice of our craft, and ultimately help them define their future,” said Mr. Ferdinand L.
