The Public Relations and Communications Association Asia Pacific (PRCA APAC) has officially launched the Asia Go-To-Market Primer 2024. Covering thirteen countries in Asia including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, and Sri Lanka, the primer provides an overview of their media markets.
COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises Group Chief Executive Director and Lead Strategic Communications Counsel / Partner and Co-Founder and PRCA APAC Board Member Mr. Ferdinand Bondoy was tapped to contribute to the project, providing insights on the Philippines’ current media and cultural landscape.
As one of the leading communications experts in Southeast Asia, Mr. Bondoy is a Regional Board Member of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Asia Pacific which aims to raise standards in PR and communications while providing members with industry data, facilitating the sharing of communications best practice, and creating networking opportunities.
The brief aims to provide brands and communications agencies with guidance to better inform go-to-market strategies and campaigns that are tailored to the unique wants and needs of each market. Its goal is to break the myth of monolithism in Asia’s communications landscape, highlighting its diversity as the most populous continent in the world.
With his contribution to the PRCA APAC primer, Mr. Bondoy hopes that it can serve as a step forward in challenging the monolithic view that international brands and agencies have of the Asian market. “Asia is a continent with diverse communities and cultures. Each community responds and reacts to campaigns in different ways. Getting the chance to amplify this message through the Asia Go-To-Market Primer is a challenge that we, in the PRCA APAC, are more than willing to take to ensure that the brands and agencies across the world recognize the diversity of the Asian market.”
The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) is the world’s largest professional PR body. It represents more than 35,000 PR professionals from 82 countries who work towards the goal of creating a more professional, ethical, and prosperous PR industry.
