Make-A-Wish Philippine COMCO Mundo New PR Smart Social

COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises, through its UNMASKED: The COMCO Mundo Write to Ignite Initiative Season 3, continues to support children’s emotional and physical wellbeing by turning over a cash donation to Make-A-Wish Philippines.

The donation was made in line with the group’s Citizen COMCO initiative and as part of the winning prize for placing as one of the top storytellers in the Write to Ignite Season 3. Ms. Katrina Rivera of Kwento ni Kat from Talisay City, Negros Occidental won second runner-up for her entry, “Wrist Tags, Bananas in Pajamas, Masks, and All the Things That Can Keep Us Alive,” choosing Make-A-Wish Philippines as her beneficiary to receive a donation from COMCO, supporting the organization’s dedication to fulfilling life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

“I am simply honored to be part of something bigger than myself,” shared Ms. Rivera. “You see, I don’t believe in fairy godmothers or genies who grant wishes. But I believe in good people who can create miracles. Please continue making children believe in wishes, in dreams and miracles.”

COMCO Mundo Group Chief Executive Director and Lead Strategic Communications Counsel / Partner and Co-Founder Ferdinand Bondoy led the turnover ceremony with Chief of Staff to the Group Chief Executive Director and Senior Executive Initiatives & Communications Manager / Partner Justin Harvey Llamosa, Senior Digital, Content Studio & Multimedia Arts Manager and Business Administrator Pro Tempore / Partner AC Recio, Senior Executive Initiatives & Communications Officer Paula Sison, Senior Digital and Content Studio Officer Hiacynth Ablanez, and  Digital and Content Studio Associate Shane Picson. Make-A-Wish Philippines Executive Director Aleah B. Ortiz received the donation on behalf of the organization.
