COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises is continuing its advocacy for children’s welfare through the UNMASKED: The COMCO Mundo Write to Ignite Initiative Season 3 by turning over a monetary donation to SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas.
The donation is in line with COMCO Mundo’s larger Citizen COMCO program of advocating for social change by championing children, youth and education; wildlife and environment conservation; heritage and culture; social enterprises; and Southeast Asia integration.
Winners of the UNMASKED: The COMCO Mundo Write to Ignite Initiative Season 3 received prize money as well as the opportunity to donate to their selected non-profit organization. Mauie Flores of The 24 Hour Mommy was the 3rd runner-up of the competition for her winning entry, “UNMASKED: The Amazing Faith and Courage of a Fabulous Ausome Mom,” which was about her churchmate’s journey raising her three children in the autism spectrum. Ms. Flores chose SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas stating that the donation was made on behalf of her family, “It is a blessing for us to share our prize with you. Ate Trixie, Ate Nikki, and Kuya Popoy may not be able to speak what is in their hearts, but know that they are very happy, and I and the Trabajo Family will always pray for everyone’s health and safety.”

The UNMASKED: The COMCO Mundo Write to Ignite Initiative Season 3 unraveled the inspiring and powerful stories which championed the human spirit as told by COMCO’s partner bloggers. This initiative pulled back the mask of the bloggers’ everyday heroes and shared their heartwarming perspectives in life.
