These individuals have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and have made significant contributions to the growth of the company and the group as well as to their respective fields.
With almost two decades of experience working as a public relations, communications, advertising and event expert, the former Deputy Account Operations Director, Joyce Yu, is set to reach higher goals for herself and the agency as she becomes the newly appointed Account Operations Director and Business Unit Administrators. Since she joined in 2021, she has worked with various accounts including European Higher Education Fair 2022, Eastern Communications, Philusa Corporation, Remy Martin, World Vision, Alaxan, Lalamove, Alaxan, Teleperformance, Jobstreet, Sunlife ASCP, Skechers, Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo, LaLiga, and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
A homegrown talent that showcased exceptional excellence in her work, Ms. Queenie Resmundo is the Agency’s newest partner. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and a proud graduate of Camp COMCO Cycle 2 under House Flying Fox, her latest clients include Takeda, Philusa Corporation, and JobStreet. She is also behind several award-winning initiatives which garnered accolades from the Quill Awards, Anvil Awards, Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, Stevie International Business Awards, Marketing Events Awards, and ASEAN PR Excellence Awards.
Popularly known as “Jam”, Ms. Janela Mauryn Bufi is another exceptional talent that was fostered to take on a bigger role. A graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Entrepreneurship with a Minor in Marketing from Ateneo de Manila University, Jam joined COMCO SEA as an apprentice under House Whaleshark of Camp COMCO Cycle 5 and has since led major campaigns such as the Reel to Real Campaign of SM Cinema, the European Higher Education Fair 2022, Unilab Foundation’s Play Advocacy Week 2018 and 2020, and the Filipino Family Wellbeing Conference 2021, along with her work for AXA Philippines and Teleperformance Philippines.
Jam is now TARO AOX’s Associate Integrated Communications Manager and Business Unit Administrator Pro Tempore for Public Relations, co-leading the unit’s biggest tech brand Samsung as well as one of the company’s longest-running FMCG clients, Lamoiyan Corporation.
Inspired and more motivated than ever, Matthew Escosia is ready to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and experiences as the newest Senior Executive Initiatives and Communications Officer of COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises.
As a graduate of Bachelor of Arts Major in Broadcasting from Trinity University of Asia and as a former Executive Initiatives and Communications Officer, he took part in several projects, including handling brands such as World Vision, Essilor, DragonPay, Lenovo, WWF, MR.DIY, Century Tuna, and Uratex Mattresses. He was also a vital part of mounting the two successful seasons of the Write to Ignite Blogging Project and providing administration for the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program since its 11th cycle. As COMCO’s ace content curator, Mr. Escosia also handled the SEA Wave Pop Culture Studio.
An artist with an innate dedication and passion for her craft, Narah Faigal, a Multimedia Arts graduate of Mapua University, considers self-improvement as her biggest motivation. A working student who took on photography-videography gigs and art commissions as her way to enhance her craft, she joined as an apprentice of Camp COMCO Cycle 15 under House Whaleshark, supplying creative materials for different accounts in COMCO.
Her most remarkable project that became her big break in motivation was her work on Students’ PR Con and 24-Hour Grand Prix back in 2021; from there, she joined the COMCO Squadron as a Multimedia Arts Associate and was given an accelerated promotion skipping one level in the corporate ladder and is now the Agency’s newest Multimedia Arts Officer.
With her diligence and leadership prowess, Hiacynth Ablanez is moving up from Integrated Communications Associate to Senior Integrated Communications Associate of TARO AOX. A cum laude graduate of Bulacan State University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting, Hyacinth is also a proud graduate of Camp COMCO Cycle 16 under House Hawksbill and since then has become an integral part of the team in projects and initiatives such as MR.DIY, Uratex Monoblock, APL GO, Lalamove and Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz,
